A visual representation of William Cullen Bryant's poem "A Forest Hymn" (which is partially quoted), this short film was shot over the course of 3 mornings, with the exception of the storm time lapse, along a single driveway in rural Florida. It's a personal film. The natural world has always been a spiritual place for me. The earth and sky are my cathedral; a place to sense eternity and observe something far bigger than myself at work. If there's one thing I want to pass on to my daughters, it's to always find the time to step away from the synthetic world and to be still in the natural. There's more than meets the eye.
